All band personnel voluntarily participate; however, funding is needed for operating costs such as rehearsal space, transportation, guest musician fees, music, and more. There are many different ways in which you can support our band. Read on to see how you can help.
Patron
Tracing our beginnings to 1997, BBWR has developed a reputation as the premier brass band in Northeast Ohio. Please consider providing financial support by becoming a patron.
Patronage in any amount is gratefully accepted, the following provides suggested levels:
- Jay Wardeska Director’s Circle ($1000+)
- Keith M Wilkinson Emeritus Society ($500 – $999)
- Brass patron ($250 – $499)
- Gold Patron ($100 – $249)
- Silver Patron ($20 – $99)
All patrons will be recognized in our concert programs and on our website. If done online, recognition will be listed based on the billing information in checkout. If you would like the recognition indicated differently, please specify this in the “Order notes” on the checkout page below the billing details. Click the button below to donate online or you may hand a check, made payable to “Brass Band of the Western Reserve”, to the ticket table at a concert or contact us if you prefer to mail a check.
Chair Sponsorship Program
Why sponsor a musician?
Participating in our Chair Sponsorship program brings new perspective to the music you love. Whether you have an affinity for a particular instrument or a particular player, you will enjoy a sense of inclusion as you watch and listen to BBWR and your sponsored musician.
Who Can Become a Chair Sponsor?
Individuals, families, estates and businesses who donate $100 or more can become a Chair Sponsor. Sponsorship levels are $100 for section chairs and $250 for principal musician chairs. When donating for chair sponsorship, recognition will be listed based on the billing information in checkout. If you would like the recognition indicated differently, please specify this in the “Order notes” on the checkout page below the billing details.
What Benefits Come With Chair Sponsorship?
- Sponsor’s name will be listed next to the corresponding chair within the program for each BBWR concert of the season. Typically: October, December, March, May
- Sponsor’s name will be included on the BBWR Roster as a Chair Sponsor.
- You will have an opportunity to meet your musician backstage and take a photo as a memento
- Invitations to open rehearsals and private patron only rehearsals.
- Current Chair Sponsors have first rights to renew sponsorship of your chair the following season. Renewal starts after the May concert.
